Engage
The Growth Lab engages with the academic and development community in the classroom and through seminars and events.
Our research insights are integrated into master’s and doctoral degree curricula at Harvard Kennedy School, and HKS Executive Education programs serving senior economists and policymakers. We reach hundreds of students every year and the Growth Lab’s course alumni network stands at 3,000+, many of whom are teaching our methodologies in graduate programs at top universities around the world.
Through our Research Seminar Series and Development Talks, we hosted more than 30 events and 1,200 attendees in 2024.

Strategies for Inclusive Growth
In an increasingly connected world, strategies for economic growth must become more inclusive to account for a multitude of different contexts. Policymakers need not only recognize instances of economic exclusion but also diagnose the causes—and ultimately work toward global solutions. Led by professors Ricardo Hausmann and Matt Andrews, this one-week, on-campus executive program specifically addresses this emerging challenge.
